About Me
I am a Jerusalem-based rabbi and Middle East specialist. Formerly the Arab Affairs reporter for the Times of Israel and a community rabbi in Canberra, Australia, I am now an independent consultant for organizations working on religious and cultural outreach.
When I am not busy teaching Arabic or lecturing on Middle East politics, I dedicate my time to People of the Book, my online initiative aimed at bringing Jews and Muslims closer together through viral videos shared on social media.
I am fluent in English, Hebrew, Arabic and French, and regularly comment on Israeli politics for Al-Jazeera, BBC and Sky News Arabia. My op-eds have appeared in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal.
Speaking
I regularly lecture on Middle East politics, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and Jewish-Muslim relations.
For a fascinating talk that goes beyond the headlines, look no further.
